What is the Gospel?
The word gospel literally means “good news.” When we say the “Gospel of Jesus Christ” we are talking about the Good News of Jesus Christ. The first four books of the New Testament are called the Gospels because they are four accounts and descriptions of the Good News of Jesus.
What is Baptism?
Baptism is a public declaration of one’s personal belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The New Testament consistently shows baptism as the next step for those who place their faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation. (Acts 2:41; 8:12; 10:47-48; (Rom 6:3-4; Gal 3:27; Col 2:12)
