Guest Services & Hospitality
Creating the Welcome That Opens Hearts.
Guest Services | Greeters Time commitment: 30 minutes every other week
Greet attendees, answer questions, and ensure people feel seen, valued, and connected. A friendly attitude and a heart for hospitality are key. Positions include: Welcome Tent/Parking Attendant, Front Door Greeter, Welcome Table Host, Service Greeter, and Sermon Outline Distributor.
Guest Services | Ushers Time commitment: 1 hour weekly
Help guests find seats and set up additional chairs when needed. Assist monthly with distributing communion, etc.
Guest Services | Service Refresh Team Time commitment: 15 minutes weekly
Restock Connect Cards and pens after services.
Hospitality | Cafe Team Time commitment: 1-1.5 hours weekly
Prepare and replenish coffee, drinks, and Sunday treats.
Hospitality | Event Host Time commitment: as needed
Purchase and/or prepare food for church events like ‘New Here Lunch’ and Memorials. Food costs reimbursed by the church.

Grove Kids & Grove Students
Creating the Moments Where Faith Takes Root.
Grove Kids | Teacher Time commitment: 1.5 hours on Sundays
Lead PreK-1st or 2nd-5th Graders
Grove Kids | Teacher Assistant Time commitment: 1.5 hours on Sundays
Assist PreK-1st or 2nd-5th Graders
Grove Kids | Nursery/Toddler Volunteer Time commitment: 1.5 hours on Sundays
Nurture 0-3 year olds
Grove Kids | Check-In & Greeter Time commitment: 30 minutes on Sundays
Assist new families at Check-in & escort them to classrooms.

Lead weekly small group to help students grow in faith, build relationships, and apply God’s Word to their lives.

Oversee weekly dinners for student gatherings.

Plan and help organize student ministry events and outreach opportunities.

Facilities & Music Ministry
Creating the Environment Where Faith Comes Alive.
Facilities | Light Cleaners Time commitment: 15 minutes to 1 hour on Sundays
Help prepare and refresh spaces on Sundays. The heaviest task is taking out the trash.
Facilities | Set-up/Tear Down Crew Time commitment: 1-2 hours before/after event
Arrange chairs and tables, etc. for events.
Facilities | Handymen Time commitment: 1-2 hours when needed
Perform small tasks like replacing filters to assembling shelves with their tools; supplies are provided.
Facilities | Security Time commitment: 1-2 hours when needed
Keep our church safe and welcoming by watching over the campus during services and events.
Marketing | Photographer Time commitment: as needed
Capture meaningful moments during services and events.

From running slides and sound to operating cameras and managing stage setup, this team supports the service behind the scenes. Training provided.

Sing or play an instrument. You’ll help set the tone and energy of our gatherings. Auditions help us place people where they’ll thrive.

Congregational Care & Outreach
Creating the Connections That Carry Faith Forward.
Congregational Care | Care Givers Time commitment: varies
Support the practical and emotional needs of our church family by sending cards, making phone calls, visiting those in need, and delivering meals.
Congregational Care | Intercessors Time commitment: varies
Pray with others over the needs of our church family, local community, nation, and world.
Outreach | Volunteer Time commitment: varies
Be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving those in need—whether collecting and organizing food and clothing, serving meals, or serving at outreach events like egg hunts and trunk-or-treat. This role meets practical needs with Christ-like compassion.

Congregational Care| Soul Care Time commitment: varies
Offer emotional and spiritual support to those facing grief, illness, or personal crises with compassion and care.
Requirements:
-Complete 8 weekly care training sessions (2.5 hours each)
-Read 3 assigned books
-Meet weekly with individuals (usually in-home)
-Attend monthly supervision meetings
-Commit to personal growth in Christ through this ministry
